What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is the largest natural, drugless and non-surgical healing art in the world. It is based on the premise that the nervous system controls and coordinates all the muscles, organs and systems in the body. It recognizes that structural misalignments (subluxations) of the spinal vertebrae, sacrum, pelvis and extremity joints may disturb and interfere with nervous system function. Thus, lowering the body's health potential and thereby resulting in a multitude of conditions.
What can I expect at your office?
Fear of what happens when visiting a chiropractor for the first time is a big concern for many. In fact, it's the most common reason people don't go. At Fisher Chiropractic we make sure your initial visit begins and ends with every question answered. Your first visit will start with a meeting with one of our doctors where your complaints and health history will be discussed from the initial paperwork. If indicated, a complete spinal examination will be performed. X-rays of your spine will be taken if necessary. These x-rays can be gathered at our office during your first visit. The doctor will review your findings and tell you if chiropractic care can help your condition(s). If the doctor feels you can be helped, he will tell you. If not, the doctor will make the appropriate referral to another health care specialist.
